Could it just be that these companies that are coming aboard have more belief in Joes game plan than some DCI shareholders? ... how many times does Joe have to prove to us that he can buy excellent companies at low revenue multiples before we all believe he can do it?

From your above statements, it was not clear to me if you were implying that my question demonstrated a lack of awareness. I hope not. My question was simply an extension of the dialogue on this thread. There have been discussions recently that the normal range for buyouts in this industry is about 1 to 3X's earnings. And that the larger companies typically command the larger multiples. Well, out of the blue, comes this BIG company (at least on the surface, they have a lot more revenues than DCI) that we are going to acquire for a little more than half its revenues. Doesn't that raise any questions in your mind? The deal may very well be as good as it looks on paper initially, but it's a valid question to ask why these folks would sell their company so cheaply. And for those of us that ask these questions, it doesn't mean that we don't "get it".

We all have different agendas here. Some of the investors on this thread have decided that DCI is "IT", and they have sunk their entire family assets into the company. I don't criticize them for doing that, and if they are right they will be wealthy people. But there should not be an expectation that all of us either make the same commitment or shut up.

I don't belong to the "George Eberting school of biting the hand that feeds you". And I have never been disrespectful when asking a question. All I ask is that their be mutual respect among those of us who have slightly different views about the prospects for DCI.
