nice article: Central to the company's new direction are products and technologies acquired through the purchase of Digital's network products business and Gigabit startup Yago Systems. shows how smart cs was to purchase these assets ...sold 10 of the switches to a Hong Kong shipping company and is also due to announce a deal with a Chinese state-owned petrochemical company. with so many of the major networking companies discussing the slow down in asia, if cs can show growth or no decline, this would be exciting. Another new trend for the company is e-commerce, which it plans to implement worldwide within the next six-nine months. very exciting to see cs begin to define the future and not follow. The final step in the new strategy will be in acquisitions... this could be ugly, they already have enough with to integrate with recent purchases. also if they are purchasing public companies, this would cast doubt on any discussions of a possible buyout.
