I assume all you big talking msft bashers have sizable
short positions, yes? Shoot, you've got big brother on
your side, such a fine alternate to Windows in navigator..
..what could you possibly have to fear?
Those that are short, I at least respect your conviction.
The other bashers obviously have no faith in what they're saying.
IMHO, in the end, it will bo the DOJ fighting to save face.
This is the only thing that will even make this interesting --
watching Janet Reno and co. squirm as they realize they've
been duped. As a msft long. my only concern is that it
takes 7 years for this to happen.
It's getting so bizarre, it's like the Lewinsky story, or OJ or something.
The claims and the quotes that are making the press are so outlandish
that I fear I'll be tuning out the whole thing for a while. Please
remember that the courts definition of a fact is far different than
what is deemed news worthy.
I forecast a massive september quarter for msft due to higher than
expected retail sales of Win98. All this free advertising..., it's so
unfair isn't it? My guess is there's a few months more where you
can get in under 100.
BTW, if this does take years to resolve, we'll all be talking to our
NT machines with dual 800mhz processors, for under $1,000
anyway.
