Coram Selected as Home Infusion Therapy Provider For New Mexico's Ted R. Montoya Hemophilia Program

DENVER, May 19 /PRNewswire/ -- Coram Healthcare (NYSE: CRH) today announced that it has been awarded the Ted R. Montoya Hemophilia Program contract. This contract is for a one-year period with renewal options. Coram will provide pharmacy services including factor blood products and other hemophilia related medications for hemophilia patients across the state of New Mexico. Coram will also provide home nursing services and ancillary supplies as necessary. Coram Healthcare is a provider of hemophilia services throughout its 89 service centers.

The Ted R. Montoya Hemophilia Program, established in 1980, is administered through the University of New Mexico in conjunction with its Health Sciences Center, Department of Pediatrics. The program makes appropriate blood products available to all patients across the state of New Mexico on an outpatient basis. This program provides coverage to those patients who lack the funds to cover out-of-pocket costs associated with this disorder. Currently, the University of New Mexico clinically monitors more than 100 hematology patients.
