No, this is a continuation of their fab agreement with Cyrix/NSM. They have been making the 6X86s and MediaGX parts for Cyrix all along. These higher speed grades will fetch a higher ASP than 200-266 Mhz speeds. IBM's agreement with Cyrix/NSM allows them to co-market the 6X86 under their own label. For every part they make for Cyrix, they get to keep one part to sell as an IBM uP.
