Rick- You make very good points.
Don't get excited. I was just blowing off steam.
The IRS and Justice Dept crushed my father.
Dad's accountant made a mistake on Dad's return in the sixties.
Dad's lawyer failed to show up in tax court and the IRS got
a judgement for 100,000. Dad spent 30 years fighting it and in the
end the govt took over a million dollars from him. Dad made eight
offers of compromise. All were rejected.
When he went to Federal Court, the Federal Court judges were
nothing more than rubber stamps. They're Federal employees
and poltical appointees. The system is skewed toward the government.
Dad died of a heart attack last year at the age of 73. He was
broke and in debt. The government had taken everything.
Yeah, I agree MSFT is too arrogant and needs to be trimmed back
a bit, but this Justice Dept is ruthless.
Gates made a crucial mistake in not settling with them.

BTW: Does anyone else think this market is ready to take a dive ??
My moving averages and MACDs are all turning down.
