John, Pat and Jim: First, I don't work for and xDSL related companies, but almost half of my investment is on this sector because I believe entertainments (videos, games, internet ...) are the ultimate driving force for high speed and bandwidth, xDSL fits in perfect. Second, I found some Amatians are betting based on rumours, big name professors, "sexy" company name and some other nonsense. Third, most of Amatians are diehard fans rather than objective investors and they are not open to different opinions.
My point is: Running a business is different than writing papers; making one beautiful product is not the same as making 100,000 beautiful products. No company can make a living with nothing but loyality (assuming they can afford best lawyers to get that loyality).
