Yeah, yeah ... I said I would no longer post here. But, I just received an update on the Vertex 2000 status and I wanted to share it with the nice folks on the thread. Those of you who wish to believe I don't know what I'm talking about, please skip this post. I certainly wouldn't want to waste any of your valuable time. The following is a list of Vertex 2000 enhancements that have been made since the product went Beta in Puerto Rico. Note: this list was cut and pasted from an email I received from a person I correspond with regarding certain technical issues relating to the product. He has given permission to have this information published on SI. ======================= 1. ISPF/PDF Interface for Vertex 2000 utilities 2. Binary dates in various formats are now handleable with ease. 3. Extension of bigitizer options. Many. 4. OS/VS COBOL and COBOL LE (along with COBOL II) is now in test. ======================= The activity regarding funding that taoman referred to has also been verified.
