Calls are Bullish,

The market maker selling these calls will probably buy more stock(especially under 9). The stock already committed to the call options will certainly not be sold by the MM (unless he wants to risk buying shares at a higher price before June expiration). The call buying should tie up more stock and thus the shares are more likely to become more expensive--especially if a short squeeze is triggered in the future.
