I'm new to this thread, but feel compelled to comment here. I applaud those of you who have held Dell and profited handsomely. I bailed out MANY points ago. I just hope none of you let your overenthusiasm cost you money- as it did to me with Intel. There are certain factors which simply can't be overlooked

1) Profits are not growing as fast as revenues. ie. they are buying market share.
2) Average selling prices in the industry are falling. Perhaps Dell will be able to comand brand loyalty, but I believe that has it's limits.
3) I think it is a great company, and Micheal Dell is a genius. But the growth rate of the stock price price is twice that of the earnings growth rate...how much up side is left?
4) Generating 50% revenue growth from 3bill to 4.5bill is easier than from 14bill to 21bill. Can they keep it up??

I'm not sure it's time to get out yet.....but the unbridled enthusiasm I see in this thread leads me to believe that some of you will ride this thing back down and watch profits slip away while singing the praises of Micheal Dell.
