I share your opinion of the hypesters, but I would suggest that the attention you gave it with your long post was far more than it deserves, and perhaps calls more attention to it than it should. Most of us are so used to these useless hype posts, that we just fly by them.
I have followed your many posts, and it's nice to see someone who is articulate and intelligent, with something to say. My only advice to you,(not that you asked) would be to ignore this junk. They're a necessary evil here at SI. The adminstrators can't do much, as I've been told in correspondence with them.
I guess since you've stopped trading, you have too much free time on your hands.<vbg> Perhaps you could offer your services to SI as a roaming detective to ferret out the scoundrels.<vvbg>
Seriously, though, I hope you get back to trading soon, as it appears your recent troubles are more a crisis of confidence, brought on by a lack of information you should have been provided with, rather than a lack of knowledge of how to trade. You appear to have all the right intangibles to be successful at it.
Good luck, Bill. Don't sweat the small stuff, like the hype posts.
Just my humble opinion.
