No Brian, you're wrong re Or, they could just continue to download copies from the internet. And not pay after the 30 day trial period. That's called stealing. Same as shop lifting. I read the license agreement. Up until a few months ago (in 1998), Netscape's current version (not beta) of the browser was free only to educational institutions, perhaps full-time students also, I don't remember exactly. For joe consumer, you could down-load the current version "free" to try out for 30 days, after which Netscape required payment. The beta (version in development) was always free to keep, no strings. If you don't believe me, then call Netscape and ask them. Maybe you could pay them what you owe, if you owe them anything. This year only did Netscape say every version was free.
