John,

>>Hard to figure how a man can let a company with rain's potential run itself.<<

Well, John, I have officially retired as a Berman basher but I'd hazard to guess the logic runs something along the lines that when you have the board in your pocket there's no need to appease a bunch of nickel dime independent investors with a lot of unanswerable questions. By the time the meeting was held 99+% of the voting would have already been sent in by proxy so why does the Great Man have to expose himself and his expensive suit to the tomato throwing rabble particularly as there's plenty of hired help around to do that job. Besides we should all be thankful the Lyle wasn't there to pull anymore 'toads' out of his hat.

BTW reports from AOL RAIN seem to feel that Brimmer, Carey and Robinow did an admirable job given the circumstances.

OK this time I mean it. I've retired as a Berman basher...... I've retired as a Berman basher........ I've retired as a Berman basher.....

Regards,
Dennis
