As reported April 10 in Business First, CheckFree plans to consolidate two call centers and administrative operations in the Worthington area to Dublin this summer.

The city expects CheckFree:

 To quickly exceed its guarantee, with 1,100 total jobs with an annual payroll of $30.3 million by late this year.

 1,400 jobs and a payroll of $38 million in late 1999.

 Perhaps 1,700 jobs and a payroll of $45.5 million by late 2000.

"CheckFree has the ability to become one of the largest employers in Dublin," said Mary Bearden, Dublin economic development director. "We're seeing, for the first time, the second generation of tenants in a major building."
