The specs for NCI's DTV navigator are available for download as a pdf file (requires Adobe Acrobat reader) at: nc.com

The specs state: "DTV Navigator is an open architecture, distributed
between a client and server environment. Because it is based on open Internet standards, DTV Navigator does not lock network operators into any one hardware platform, operating system, application developer, or content provider. In fact, DTV Navigator is the most flexible consumer platform on the market today. The DTV Navigator client sits on an abstraction layer above the client's real-time operating system (RTOS). Thus, with DTV Navigator, network operators can choose from any number of available set-top box solutions."

Operating system requirements are listed as: "Any real-time operating system (RTOS) via porting toolkit; NCI Operating System Abstraction Layer ensures that the DTV Navigator client works across operating systems and processors"

Obviously it will work with WIND's VxWorks, but also with other RTOS products.
