Curly and all:

It's been a while since I have posted anything to this thread. I am still long CYMI, but I did scale back my position when it got back into the 20's.

I have been reading all of your posts over the last couple of months, and I continue to appreciate your knowledge of this company and the obvious experience that you have had in coping with the psychological aspects of holding a promising but volatile stock position.

I may be subject to a flame here, but I would appreciate some feedback from you and the thread re: one technology expert's opinions about which technology companies will lead the way into the new millenium. The expert I am referring to is George Gilder who is affiliated with the Gilder Technology Letter and who frequently contributes to the Forbes ASAP technology supplement.

Mr. Gilder has made a number of accurate observations re:technological trends. In essence, his current spin on technology is that the age of dominance and exponential improvement in the microchip is in the process of being replaced by what he calls the "law of the telecosm." In his opinion, this future exponential growth in bandwith will play a more important role than Moore's Law in shaping the future of technological advances. This opinion has had an impact on my CYMI holdings. If Moore's Law is in fact losing influence what impact will that have on CYMI? I for one believe that Moore's Law will continue to play a vital role in technological advances but will it lead the way?

I would greatly appreciate some feedback from the resident semiconductor experts on this thread re: these thoughts.

TIA,

Doug
