K6 is lots of hype! CEO Jerry Sanders even lied to me, a former AMD stock holder , at the annual meeting in New York spring 94. He said: " No ICE code" used in their 486 chip. It was a clean chip! Two months later he admitted that was a lie! When I heard that, I sold my large holdings of AMD at $29 and bought Intel. Intel doubles every year on full margin! Please buy AMD and suffer! As for me and my house we will buy Intel. I have 5 Intel PC's in my house (4 Pentiums). CYRX and AMD are history, but they do keep the Intel people paranoid and non-complacent. We need to get this thread back on track with Paul Engel postings and other people with (technical) knowledge. Please: AMD fans go back to your thread! humble carl
