I do not think that many Zip users are going to risk buying the Nomai disks in order to save a buck. I know that as a consumer I would want to be certain that I was buying a proven product that would not damage my equipment. A one or two dollar price differential is not significant enough to justify the uncertainty of performance or damage to a $100 or $200 drive. Most Zip users will not be buying disks 30 or 50 at a time like floppy disks...the average user would probably only save 5 or 6 dollars a year by buying "unbranded" disks.
