Browser = I/O + HTML Parsing + Display engine + UI

I/O = File or Local network (IPX, NETBUEI, TCP/IP) or Internetwork
HTML Parsing = Text processing
Display engine = Graphics support
UI = UI :-)

All of these technologies have traditionally been part of operating systems. I'm not sure which of these technologies the DOJ considers to be forbidden. Maybe operating systems shouldn't support networking at all. Maybe they shouldn't support drivers of any kind. Hmmm. Why should they be allowed to support graphics??? Boy, maybe the DOJ should write an operating system. They seem to know all about them.

Tangentially, don't Macs come with browsers? Do they include more than one? Doesn't a Solaris system come with a browser? Does it include more than one?

Thanks,
Mike
