How about ASMIF (Advanced Semi Intl) as an investment? Have been watching your discussions w/o a reference to ASMIF. Currently at $ 8.5 & P/E=4.22 & earnings/share of 2.07 ( vs AMAT's of $ 31.5 & P/E=8.63& earnings/share of 3.71 respectively). Also recent news of: ASM International NV said on Tuesday it planned a listing on the Amsterdam bourse and a share offering. Applied Materials Inc and Advanced Semiconductor Materials International Inc said on Thursday they had agreed to a temporary stay of all litigation Is there something wrong with the company fundamentally or because it is a foreign company, or is the institutions upset w/ them or just not interested. Any feedback is very welcome.....
