The Dayton Hamfest news is very significant to me as it is the largest hamfest in the USA and engineers and radio amateurs attend from all over the world. Also many who attend work in the communications fields and there are many antenna engineers and antenna hobbyists. The ham market is fairly large and many amateurs are looking for compact alternatives to full size dipoles. Many of these engineers design communications systems for a living. I have designed a few compact antennas and walked around at hamfests and received hundreds of inquiries and comments so I'm sure CTHA attracted a lot of interest.
