SOROS,

Our small group in Alberta has over 500,000 shares in Nortran.
We have NEVER detected any bull coming from Nortran's IR people.
It's a good idea to call the company, but a better idea would be
to go out to UBC and visit Nortran.

As previously mentioned, after our last visit (last Wednesday), we
came away more impressed than ever.
Some of things that impressed us:
1) (the obvious) signing a deal with Hoffman LaRoche.
2) Robert Rieder leaving a high paying, secure job with MDS, and coming over to Nortran.
3) Consistency from all those that we spoke with.
4) No promotional hype ever used. We visited several other VSE listed
companies, and their line was "buy now before the price skyrockets
next week".
5) Dr. Walker's confidence in Nortran's science.
6) Sir David Jack's confirmation that Nortran's science is on the right track. For those that don't know, he is the fellow credited for many of Glaxo's drugs. Him taking time out of his busy schedule to come out to visit Nortran for three days was very impressive.
What price would Nortran be if he joined the board??? Hmm???
7) The people at Nortran know that their next step is to get on the TSE.
8) (dark horse) Nortran's labido enhancer. We could possibly see
a licensing agreement within a couple of months.

Let's hope that we have seen the bottom.
