I have recently started to follow IGEN and all commentary to now has been very informative and accurate.

I work on the street managing some partnership money. This company was introduced to me by a market maker at a major house. So I began DD....and now am long and will continue to buy at these prices.

Some interesting tidbits from a First Call Research report. I think all will find somewhat startling because of how undervalued I think IGEN is now selling at....

" ...Roche cannot afford to have its systems using the IGEN ECL technology to be taken away because it is central to the RBM diagnostic business. Roche intends to become the world's largest diagnostics company. Roche is likely to increasingly be forced to settle the dispute with IGEN. Intereestingly, Roche lowered its acquisition price for BM by $800 million just before closing the transaction earlier this year."

It is estimated for Roche to buyout this contract it would be worth $30-45 per share to IGEN....

IGEN currenly holds 72 patents for its technology...

BM spent $400 million incorporating ECL into its systems and placed 4500 with ECL at 12/97 and plans to have 8,000 units by year end 12/98

My fellow IGEN'ers this stock is a space shuttle ...

good luck,

bob
