Well, Terry, there's something we can agree on.

Who the hell buys (or sells) $138 worth of stock?

You think this is crazy, you should be a Datek customer. Datek customers often get partial fills, and they can be VERY odd quantities. For example, 3 shares. 3 shares of $10 stock. (Datek doesn't have All or None orders, so that's not a remedy.)

How'd you like to place an order to buy 1000 shares and get 3? What the hell do you do with it once you've got it? ;)

I can't figure out why anybody is placing an order to *sell* 3 shares in the first place. (Or vice-versa - sometimes you will place an order to sell 1000 shares and find you've sold 3.)

One of those cases where I'd like to be a fly on the wall and find out exactly what happened! :)
