With all due respect, The answer that nancy gave was less persuasive
than Sam's comments. To say that you only have to have some facts in common and that there must be something to it, or so many people wouldnt knock it is not a very persuasive answer.(No offense Nancy)

It really didnt address the meat of Sams posts. As far as my leanings,
I have been very open and honest about where my own personal predispositions lie.

The thing that I find very interesting about this whole arguement is that weather either side wants to admit it or not, You both have more in common than not in common.

Sam is essentially agreeing with the underlying concept of Christianity. It appears that he believes in many of the basic tennents of Chiristianity(or at least what I understand them to be)
It is the story and ritual surrounding chrisitianity that he disagrees
with.
