Re: EEE....There has been some discussion myself included) regarding the location, size, and emphasis regarding Wave's booth (#2054, 50' x 50') at EEE. I went back and viewed it's location. As we mused it is immediately adjacent to CREAF's booth (#2040, 50' x 60') and we know of Wave's relationship to CREAF (Press Release 3/12/97- "Creative Technology Chooses Wave Systems Corp. for Micro-Transaction Selling and Purchasing;WINPurchase and WINPublish are key components for the New Creative Inspire Electronic Community"). However, I was also interested to see that the Mcgraw-Hill booth (#2440, 20' x 40') was just down the aisle (Press Release 10/2/97- "McGraw-Hill Home Interactive and Wave Systems Corp. to Sell Multimedia Educational Content on the Internet; Content Also to be Offered on Planned CD-ROM Bundles"). Further, in the same neighborhood is the Ziff-Davis booth (#1439, 50' x 50') (Press Release 6/27/97- "Great Stuff Network and Yahoo! Internet Life Magazine Unite to Provide Discount E-commerce Subscription Service", This release has the pertinent quote "...With our technology and continued partnerships with leading companies such as Yahoo! Internet Life and Ziff-Davis, The Great Stuff Network will be a part of that future." said Steven Sprague, president of Wave.)
It could be a coincidence that these booths are in close proximity but perhaps not. As for the other booths in the area of Wave's, I couldn't link those exhibitors to Wave via their registered names but perhaps others of you can. You might point your browsers that way to see if your memories are jarred into remembering something.
In the meantime, along with everyone I look forward to the next few days and the upcoming EEE.
