NCTI Cross-Licensing Partner Verity Group Signs Twelve Additional
Licensees for Flat Speaker Technology
STAMFORD, Conn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 20, 1998--Noise Cancellation Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ: NCTI) today announced that NXT, part of Verity Group, PLC with which NCTI announced a technology cross licensing agreement on April 1, 1997, has recently licensed twelve additional companies to manufacture wafer thin flat panel loudspeakers for the PC, multimedia and domestic audio markets worldwide. This brings the total number of licensees to thirty. NCTI will receive
per unit royalties from Verity.
