I guess they are hoping that the bankruptcy won't go through.

Also, some people would rather buy 10,000 shares of a 17 cent stock for $1700 then 100 shares of a $17 stock for $1700 because they have more leverage. The fallacy in this is that no matter how much you pay for a stock, a percentage is a percentage and zero is zero. Unless a miracle happens, that's what their stock will be worth - zero.

I'm surprised that PAA is even trading but I'm glad you were able to get out of it. MFN still hasn't opened since they announced their news.
