Hi everyone, just ran across this thread. I have a
dumb question. I'm trying to understand where the potential is
in a company, when there is several form 144's showing. My
understanding of form 144, is the sell of shares by insiders or
shares that are unregistered on to the open market.

Example, company XYZ has many 144s that just hit, many of the
dates are recent like this: "WASHINGTON, DC, May. 18, 1998 (States) -- Fred Flintstone, a shareholder of XYZ Corp. of Bedrock, reported on May 11, 1998 the proposed sale of 4,480 shares, for $1,971 through ABC Securities.

Okay, so its not many shares but there are alot of the 144s like the
above. I had asked someone earlier, what all this would mean, and got flammed for it, cause I don't see the potential in it.

Could someone point me in the right direction? What I see
is people wanting out of XYZ, that may have info, that I just
can gain access to.

Just trying to learn...
