Did WSTL's CEO say CAP was an ETSI-standard for ADSL, HDSL or just in general xDSL? Also here is article from Pairgain on standard compliant. Standard compliant... this is a new term for me... does this mean PairGain is 100% ETSI-standard?

Do you remember this term, "category 1/category 2" compliant in reference to ADSL. ADI/AWRE's solution is category 1 compliant. MOT/AWRE's DMT solution is category 2 compliant. I was under the impression that a solution that was ETSI-Standard had to have category 2 compliance for ADSL... Sorry for more questions... without providing any answers....
