bucky89, I'm pretty sure their is still a close relationship between the two companies with the Magellan product, Nortel's only true ATM switch product. Gary, If this is true then FORE will go to Nortel and Ascend will go to Lucent. I think BAY will also go to Nortel. By "switch product", I take it you mean the ability to do SVC's, right? I believe the crossbar is used in Yurie's product. Crossbar switching is a pretty straight-forward and easily-implemented technology. bucky89
