Candlestick, I am still not sure on the rational of people who short. You shorted at 21 and made 8 points, covering at 13. That is 38% on your money, and it would be counted as a very successful short.

I got interested at 16, but watched it go down and then fortunately went long at about 12. It is now 37 or so so I have over 200% on my money.

It seems to me that you have to make a lot of successful shorts (and most are only for 3 or 4 points, not 8), to equal one good long position. I know that everyone has his own style, but I was just wondering.
