First, it was an apparent consensus on this thread of what an os is
that I was addressing. Look back -- there's this whole discussion
of an 'os is in the eye of the beholder',... If you'd switch to decaf and
actually read what your replying to you'd see that I was saying that
it is absurd to see a browser as an os.

second, if you look at the actual complaint you'll see netscape
referenced as 'competition to windows'. Now why would they say
that if they didn't perceive it as an os? perhaps because they don't
have a clue?
