Lee, JP is pulling everyone's chain. I would not waste much time on him. He is basing his chain of reasoning on this faulty premise namely: DELL is having more difficulty beating analysts expectations. Those of us who have been following DELL for a number of years know that the estimates in question were way off until a few quarters ago because the analysts really did not understand DELL's model and the consistently misread the competitive situation. Mr. Patterson is trying to use the premise of "waning ability to exceed expectations" . He is either completely disingenuous or he is hopelessly lost in his false logic. I think it is the former. He seems to get a kick out of misdirecting people.
