Hi-
checked out the world capital market review by princeton economics
about their view on bonds..(came out in January and was offered free)
anyways..that issue said bonds might top by July 20th..not sure if
this is outdated..
said us budget would be a disaster
heard Louise Yamana on CNBC..she has an excellent track record..
of course she didn't mention el nino's effects, meltdown in Asia
depressing severely commodities with a depression going on..she
stressed how now technology is replacing all...just sand and light
and I forgot what else is needed for this global economy..
thought it was a bit ironic after Loral's satellite launching technology sold to China(probably with the rational if the US didn't
make the money, another foreign company would sell something similar)
that all of a sudden the satellite companies are down because of a
little old satellite going astray..geez who cares about encrytion
when the satellites can just be blown away and there goes the
information link...
anyways..it appears to be good for uranium..one of my stocks has taken on new life..(who knows maybe if everybody rearms, everybody
will be forced to behave again..)
also notice that the year2000 stocks have been in the dulldrums..
wonder if that is more market psychology to say.."there is no problem
out there..nothing to worry about..
also about this global commerce..wonder how the SE Asians are going
to be able to buy anything from us besides how small companies that
do business over there are going to be survive..(more packman gobbered up by comglomerates)
what did I hear..oil hitting ten year low..
now that the biotechs are blossoming..gold has to start shining..
wonder if people are the internet should create a new site and make
certain government isn't going to levy taxes on internet use..if
enough people protest before they try anything again, the politicians
might realize they might not get reelected
