Well I must admit that repricing incentive stock options is a sleezy thing for the boys at MEO to do. We do it in the oil patch all the time but it is a necessary evil to keep the key employees during bouts of low energy prices. In MEOs case it boils down to greed and lack of confidence in the overall play since the key employees are principals.
On the other side of the coin it confirms that we all should be buying at 30 cents rather than bitching. It also means that MEOs management see the whole play as uphill from here and think that the majority of buyers are soon to enter the play and won't give a dam about the lowering of the incentive levels. It does however piss off the long term shareholders that aren't allowed to change the price that they bought the stock at. My personal average price is pretty low so this is not a hit for me but it does mean that the price will plateau at the 55 to 60 cent mark and will need a good jolt to get back up higher.

To register your displeasure with the management stock option repricing move -call them up and bitch a bit -I did. 1-800-268-2636. JP
