Pentium II - cpu - for Trading

For my trading computer, I've decided to go with
a BX MB, but am hesitant spending a lot of money
on the chip. I'll have the BX for future upgrade.

My internet connection will be 10Mbps and I was wondering
at what point the speed of the cpu is overkill for
internet/daytrading purposes running multiple monitors.

Is PII 233 sufficient? Or should I go higher?

Ram - 128 MB
HD - IBM
MB - Asus BX
multimonitor card - colorgraphics evol 4 ($600 cheaper than appian)

Floppy drive -
CD rom -
sound card -

Operating System - still deciding between '95 vs NT.

17" Monitors - may go with the ADI 5p+ - $325 each
(or pay the extra money for the Mitsubishi Diamond Pro 87TXM) - $472

Ethernet - 10baseT - 3Com

Case/power - the place assembling my computer uses Enlight.
I told them I wanted SuperMicro. They could get that for me, but
said its not needed for a home computer, but more for a server.
Fans - ball bearing

The assembler of the computer has 3 year warranty on ALL parts
and lifetime Warranty on service and support.

Any critique would be welcome.

My order is being placed next week.

S.W.
