In my 6-7yrs trading I have bought & sold on same day only 3 times.

I once bought CPQ and sold on same day when earnings release was surprisingly negative. This year I had two other trades that I bought and sold same day. In each case I took a loss, but it would have been a greater loss if I had held.

Every stock that I have ever mentioned on SI, I have either owned (for a day or more) or felt it looked interesting enough to merit attention. If I seem like a daytrader to you, it may be because I may over express my enthusiasm in the way I type things. I have learned to limit the number of exclamation marks "!" but I still have to work on my phrasing.

Wouldn't you agree that everyone would like others to buy stock in one's favorite pick? Apparently the gentle art of persuasion has alluded me. I could get some pointers from you perhaps. Why do you say I'm a "notorious day trader"? Have others said that to you?

As a side note: I would very much like to day trade but the commissions are steep for my Schwab online acct. and in my other online account they won't allow daytrading of BB:OTC stocks unless cash from the previous business day is in the account to cover the trade. I'm usually fully invested in 3 or 4 stocks and don't have enough 'gambling money' to leave it laying around to cover other trades. I'd like to have about $5k of cash in that account at all times to cover day trades but the money isn't there right now. Maybe if I get lucky enough it will happen. I need a few more ICVI stocks :)
