Do you have Parmalat Bean Soup (in a can) there in the States? That's what I had for dinner. It's awfully good, really. And I usually hate stuff in cans. But if you add half a tin of water, some Worcestershire sauce, maybe a short tablespoon of tomato paste, a dash of vinegar, and (at least for me) some hot pepper, and then bring it to the boil and then add about three handfuls of short pasta, turn off the heat and let it sit for about half an hour, it's.... Where was I? Yes! It really is absolutely delicious! Serve with grated Parmigiano Reggiano, extra virgin olive oil, and freshly ground black pepper. Well, whatever. Doesn't have to be relevant, does it?
