MMV, Well, if anyone believes that his upbeat speech and his sale of shares have no connection, then there's this bridge in Brooklyn where I need a buyer. I will sell cheap. -g- Anyone who believed that speech just got Vinicked.

Not only did this geek tout IBM's negative 13 pct. earnings growth to high heaven, even Techweb got caught printing a stock market mavens' article about how IBM was undervalued. Why, if it hadn't been for pcs, the piece said, this co's eps might even have been up. Duh! Apple and Compaq would be doing great, too, without their pcs. And GM would have a lot of growth if it weren't for those pesky automobiles. Nutburger time.
