We'll never know what any company would have developed, if what? The world is still turning. Day still follows night. If Java is so great, then Corel's Java Suite should just take right off. One wonders why Netscape didn't develop the Java Suite. The bottom line is, Netscape alone is responsible for their own destiny. It's a cop-out to say anything else.
