NOVL runs up before each and every earnings report especially this time as the last one was better than expected (lousy, revenuewise, but still better than expected). In addition, the boards on NOVL are rather bearish unlike the case was here when BORL was flying to 12 last month. Momentum players don't give a damn about fundamentals so, when they are around, one should really review the fundamentals to see if they still hold. As for BORL, this board is now back to normal and this IMO bodes better for the stock. The weakness in BORL is market induced, at this time, and has nothing to do with fundamentals. As Shane pointed out, all tech small caps are taking it on the chin. Also, as Wolanski explained, the MM (Market Makers) are fooling around, playing havoc with small caps and, I won't be surprised if they were actually shorting them. I see this because some are trashed in spite of great fundamentals. Once this game is over (by next summer IMO) I think we will be back above 10 in no time. The rest
will depend on the next earnings report which should reveal how this "entreprise" thing is working out. If the acquisition of Visigenic turns out to be a good thing as reflected into revenues of over 50 MM, then people would not mind (in fact they would welcome) any further acquisition as Del has his mind set up to do. This is a time for patience and endurance. The gain in market is often proportional to the amount of patience and endurance one puts into a stock. I hope it will work... Regards... Ghassan. |
