The following InfoWorld article is located at infoworld.com : Apple, Intel form partnership on multimedia By InfoWorld Electric staff Posted at 5:30 p.m., PT, Nov. 15 Apple Computer Inc. and Intel Corp. will unveil at Comdex on Nov. 18 a multimedia alliance between Apple's QuickTime for Windows technology and Intel's MMX instructions for the Pentium and Pentium Pro processors, sources said. Apple will introduce its finished version of QuickTime for Windows at fall Comdex, with MMX support as a key feature, sources said.
