Mark,

Micro fiche and microfilm have been a part of the banking scenario for years...all the way back to 1965 at least, when I was a young bank clerk in a computer room sorting punched cards, and the filming room was right next door.

There is still mountains of this stuff being made all the time though it is hard for those of use who know a bit about technology to recognize. Here in SE Asia , everytime a clerk hand writes a receipt (more often then not - even in big department stores) or a clerk in the Government office tells me to come back in three days after a document has been retrieved, I smile to myself and realize it is just more opportunity for the companies and stocks that fascinate me.

Your comment about Walmart is fascinating.

best,
Stitch
