Thought I remember several post from you on NT and dual boot Win/NT. If I got it wrong, sorry. On the tape, since its incremental and an auto save nightly, I find it quite acceptable. As to any of the various CD or DVD media, I've been waiting for 8 years for things to settle out and a clear standard to emerge (all the way back to 2 G worm drives). Until they do and then get the incremental SW improvements, I'm on the sidelines with this media form. Or to say it another way, years ago I purchased a Beta VCR because it was technically quite superior to VHS. We all know what happened to Beta. Interesting though that almost all professional taping is still Beta format albeit on larger tape. Of course, as always, each most make their own choices. I just try to provide some info, and sometimes my opinions and insight. In this case he hadn't mentioned backup and I also recently read a post by Zuespaul that seemed to indicate backup hadn't been discussed.
