AT&T announces earnings on April 20 that beats the Street but the Street doesn't like the way the earnings were earned ... stock drops in price from 67.125 the day before to close at 65.1875.

Continues a steady decline until yesterday when it closed at 56.4375.

CEO speaks glowingly at stockholders meeting today and on nothing but mostly supposition the Street likes what he says and stock closes at 58.875 up 2.4375.

Was it just a ride on the coattails of other blue chippers which went up today, was it relief from the fact that the FED didn't raise interest rates (which were supposed to be factored in anyhow), or is it in preparation to enjoy the long weekend that is coming up.

Can anybody tell me what it will close at tomorrow? Where is that guy that is saying that T is heading for $44/share? Please explain the fickleness of what is going on.
