You can't always rely on real-time news. There are many vendors, and news can be distributed unevenly among them. Sometimes I get faxes directly from small-cap companies with news releases, which can take an hour or more to show up on a news wire. So you might be trading on news that is already known to some. The only solution is to subscribe to multiple news feeds (Reuters, Dow Jones, etc.) but that can get kind of expensive, and even that doesn't always work. Dennis
