Peter, Wilson, Richard, thank you for your responses. I should have sought advice before I got into an argument where I acquited myself decently, but was wrong in what I said. Peter, when you answered I wanted to explain that you must have relied on the 20 dma and... Instead, I went back to 2X for the 4th time and I saw the error. I am not even sure how I did it, but when I set up my charting with several indicators that I use I specified simple ma. What I failed to notice was that I got an exponental ma, which was still in an uptrend. I was using it in the right way, I think, in that I was discussing support at a point where it was consolidating. Well, the bottom line is that I was wrong and that it was very rewarding to come somewhere to be able to find it out. I really appreciate it. richard keeling
