One last thought for the day - on the Ancor ASIC. Ken said that the solutions to problems were built into the ASIC based on the experience of Ancor engineers. He felt that the solutions were to problems that "the competition has not even encountered yet." Not only a statement about his confidence in the engineers and the ASIC, but a very heavy concept. I am still thinking about the process of embedding human thought and experience in silicon. George D.
