Guys, I am not an expert in any of this stuff. I liked some of what Mr. Davidson had to say a few years ago and have been reading some of his grandious ideas since. He does cause one to think.

In his April 22 SI he says, "I remain admanantly bullish on Oroperu (OROP-CDN) (also ORPUF-NASDAQ, same company). The company has apparently turned the courner...""Look for profits of $2.5 mil or higher""..the Tres Cruces mine looks like a gem","..at.67CDN it looks like a steal". "Buy an additional 10,000 shares."

I am in it for a lot higher price that .67CDN and have my doubts about where it is going. The crazy action yesterday had me really scratching.

Just for your info, his May 20th issue discusses the Y2K problem and makes a lot more sense to me. I have been following this for a year and have a feeling that the only stocks that will be making money in 1999 will be the Y2K "fixers"! Take a look at ATEC, TAVA, VIAS, TPII, UIS and there are quite a few more. These are the leaders IMO.

There also is a great site to get yourself up to date: www.yardeni.com/y2kbook.html/

Good trading
